B/R Barrett Sallee's Prediction : LSU no.5 in SEC WEST

The Tigers are essentially a mirror image of what they were last year. The defense should stay elite thanks to returning stars and the arrival of new coordinator Dave Aranda, and the running game is in good hands with Leonard Fournette and Derrius Guice. But head coach Les Miles has employed an ultra-conservative offense for nearly a decade and hasn't shown the creativity and flexibility needed to win games 45-42 consistently when Plan A doesn't work. I can't count on that changing this offseason, which is why I have the Tigers tied for third in the SEC West with Auburn and Texas A&M but losing the head-to-head tiebreaker with each to finish fifth.

LSU comes in 5th in the West this year Miles will be in a heap of trouble.

And how often has Miles finished 5th in the west..

barrett just thinks miles is stale. but if LSU comes in 5th in the SEC, miles will be gone.

He has a point with miles..

So he has already changed his mind from last month saying they would be 6th in the west at 7-5. How does this guy get paid?

Stop clicking on this trolls site and you can eventually eliminate his opinion.

So you point how Les has consistently not changed his offensive philosophy and how everything on his end will remain the same but then state that the one team in the SEC he has never lost to will beat them.

Soooo.. one and a half sentences before a huge contradiction..
We finish 5th Miles is fired....
If we finish 1st is Sallee fired?

If that happens with 18 starters returning on a JR/SR laden team, Miles is gone.
So, we either have a good year or we have a new coach next year.

LSU will NOT finish 5th in the west. They are way to talented....

How many times will this be posted

It also says that the media has been correct 5/24 times when predicting the champion. Don't you remember last year when everyone fell in love with Auburn with Jeremy Johnson being the Heisman front runner?

He was on with Mascona yesterday. He was so smug about it too. Said LSU goes 8-4 and December is filled with a coaching search. Never mind that Miles has never finished that low in the West and it's a season with a lot of turnover on SEC rosters. Miles could run the ball 60 times a game with this team and win 10 of them and only 40% of the carries would have to come from Fournette.
