Kind of disturbing to me that his reaction to the Florida loss was "we still have a chance".
Chance for what? Sugar Bowl? Nope, they lost that. Nothing team-oriented remained. Only chance for anything was just Orgeron's own personal gain, becoming permanent head coach.

So to summarize, in an interview focused exclusively on O's journey to getting the HC job from his prospective, you are disturbed that he answered the question relative to his personal thoughts on getting the job following the loss to Florida.

You know what's disturbing to me? That we have fans like you, working hard as frick, to bring the program down every chance you get.
It won't work though because we have great people behind the scenes working much harder than you ever could to bring the program to the top. You are just a pebble in the way of the train.

I actually did get this out of the article as well. Alleva basically admits that he put all his eggs in one basket and never really had a nation wide search. This could be because he was so confident in O, that he didn't want to screw up future searches like he did with Jimbo, or because he's simply lazy. He may get lucky with O but if it goes horribly wrong, it could mean his job too. Personally I think O will have great success here but that doesn't excuse the search debacle. GT

I'd love to eat crow on this hire. It would mean that LSU is successful. The problem is that you're asking me to bet on JA making a good decision, when he's all but admitted that he fricked up.

No dumb arse the question was about him getting the job and his confidence in getting it after they fricked up against FL.
But in typical O hating fashion this dumb arse had to turn it into something completely irrelevant to the question. The folks who agree with him are just as blind as him.
