I'm not looking for up votes this isn't fun to hear but I'm stating a state of affairs an opinion as I see it after a bad home loss.

And he's not the only one who has strategized and outcoached to beat LSU this year. Look at Avery Johnson's passion for the job down there his team has no business in the NCAA tournament but a first year coach is definitely overachieving and they're buying into his message and energy. Obasahan was an animal and that white kid grabbed all those offensive boards. That's hustle.

I don't see any fire in Johnny and I wonder about what his strategy is sometimes. He finally called a full court press in the last 2 minutes of the game, after it was too late. I think he does a good job recruiting and is a nice man but prob isn't the best X's and O's coach LSU has had.

I really hope we see something different or some adjustments made out of HIM this season because he has the talent on the court. My fear is that alleva and the AD are content with the job he's doing and the ticket sales and attendance are at an acceptable number with an entertaining enough product as a school that is not basketball first and idk where that leaves LSU as a basketball program now or in the long run.

Is that a surprise? Surely you realize Avery's coaching chops are way ahead of CJJ. But, CJJ did not miss the free throws or make Ben less aggressive around the rim or TQ not passing up 3's that were not falling for him.

Did Avery outshoot Jones from the charity stripe too?

This. He did coach in the NBA and did a good job...led Mavs to NBA finals.

Idiots complaining about CJJ's coaching need to state their D1 or higher coaching credentials.

Dude he was outcoached by what's his name at charleston as well. And I'm not trying to minimize the free throws. Apparently jones isn't stressing how important they are at some point.
