Autographs at tonight's game for my son.

Any advice?? My son is 6 and bleeds purple and gold. This is his first trip to the box but he hasn't missed a game all year.
His favorite player is Bergman followed by Mark laird (my boys a lefty) and he would love either one or both as autographs. Does anyone have any pointers or advice on how we can put him in the best position to get them?? Early arrival?? Stay late??

Stay late and go along the first base side foul line. After the win players huddle and talk to coach, scatter and most head there to sign stuff.
That being said the more high profile guys are roped in by the media so you might have to wait a little longer for either of those.

Last season a friend waited under the stands near the Hall of Fame room. Players were there to sign autographs a little while after the game. Not much going on before the game as far as autographing goes.

What does it matter?

It only matters if hes over 12 and has no children.

I think he's insinuating that it is laughable for an adult to wait for a college athlete's autograph if the autograph isn't meant for a child.
And I agree.

yeah, you can get autographs outside the locker room as the players are leaving. went over there to give katz one of his homerun balls... he just signed and gave it back. guess he already had a collection.

How you feel about grown ups who bring their gloves?

Thanks for the advice fellas. He has been counting down the days. I will let everyone know how he makes out.

Is the adult with a young child who also has a glove?
That would be the only case where I wouldn't chortle.

it's over kind of on the first base side of the stadium under the grandstands. you'll see the barricades and the line of people. most players are pretty nice about it.. especially when there's a kid involved.
