There's a lot of pieces of a puzzle to put together. And LSU is one of those teams that like Bama (for example) recruits on a multi-year system. Choosing to hit recruit A hard this year is planned because you're going to hit recruit B hard two years from now.

Put that together which each position coaches evaluation and wants/needs. Then put those with the data/evaluations and backup plans and you now have a comprehensive plan.

Then, organize the visits and camps with that plan and track that players progress through the years.

Communicate all that to the staff over time provide the resouces with NCAA rules to accomplish it.

That's Austin Thomas; for a while with a partner named Frank Wilson. Think of the fat guy off of Moneyball, but for CFB.

The character is based on Paul Depodesta who looks nothing like the character played by Jonah Hill
