Awful

Prayers to the Auburn family. Those poor children.

Scary how quickly life can change. I try to be appreciative for all the things I have going in my life. You just never know.

The accident was in Auburn and he was airlifted to a hospital in B'ham where he died. His wife was brought to a closer hospital because of the extent of her injuries.

They were rearended by a 16 year old driver.

Sad.

Thanks for the info and that has to be a pretty bad accident to be killed from being rear ended.

I just rewatched his call from the end of the 2013 Iron Bowl in remembrance. Just terrible news. I feel sick for Rod’s kids losing both their parents at once, that’s pain i can’t imagine. Prayers for Rod and his family

I'll bet that the 16 year old was being a 16 year old and driving stupid... Speeding or something.

the majority of Rantards are clueless to what having children is like and what being a adult is.

The daughter is college aged and the son is still in high school.

Both parents have Facebook pages.
