I don't hate Auburn nearly as bad as I hate Bama. Once Tubby left, they learned good sportsmanship and they significantly improved on the field. I hope they beat FSU and bring home the crystal for themselves and the SEC.

Auburn coming out of nowhere, beating Bama, winning the SEC and playing for the MNC is demoralizing for Bama. I love it.

LSU will have the pleasure of saying Ha Ha, we beat you, much like UF did to LSU in 2003.

As far as AU vs FSU, I probably won't watch the entire game, because I don't really care who wins.

I don't particularly care either, but I'm excited about the game. It's an interesting matchup that should make for good football. It also will answer questions about the auburn offense, how to stop it, and will affect whether other teams try to copy it.

With the time off between now and then I expect Auburn to cool down. FSU is also ridiculously talented on both sides of the football. I don't think Auburn will stop FSU from scoring 35+ and they sure aren't running on them like they did Mizzou.

"Cheering" for auburn is stupid.

LSU competes against then for recruits year in and year out.

Auburn winning another title does nothing but hurt LSU.

This. I am not a fan of a conference. I am a fan of LSU. The stronger the conference is, the harder it is on LSU. The SEC has already proven it's greatness. The greatness of the SEC has never once helped LSU. It has only hurt them by allowing Bama a rematch in 2011.

How much more $$$ does the winner of the NC get from the BCS than the loser?

Oh, and the SEC prints money bro. SEC Network will generate even more.

As an LSU, my dislike for Auburn = my dislike for Alabama (and for that matter, UGA, Tenn. Ole Miss, A&M, Ark., Florida, South Carolina, etc.). Needless to say, I'm completely fine with the SEC going 1-9 in the upcoming bowl games as long at the "1" is LSU. However, AU earned their way in the BCSNCG, and what Malzahn did this year after 3-8 last year really is remarkable. I'd prefer not to see AU win the NC if I had any say in the matter.

LSU probably competes against FSU more than Auburn in the recruiting world...

I don't want Auburn to win because that will allow Alabama fans to co-claim the MNC with the "last 5 from the State of Alabama" line. Plus, as we all know, the only reason Bama lost to Auburn was because of missed FG's, so that really means Bama was the better team and in reality "won" the game. Thus, Auburn winning would give Bama their 49th national championship!!!

Greg Robinson was the biggest miss in recruiting in the last couple of years.

I find this argument very convincing. Lots of fans from the state of Alabama claim both teams, and root for whomever they perceive as having the best chance to win it all. I know multiple auburn graduates who have been riding the bama bandwagon with saban's run. They actually were upset that auburn beat bama because it ruined Bama's chance to win another mnc.

Last I checked, LSU is an SEC team. And it sure as hell helped in 2007

No it didn't. #1, the SEC Prowess had yet to really be formed, and in fact, a two loss LSU beating the shite out of tOSU probably really tipped the scales and started the SEC Prowess Perception nationally.

LSU beat out VT because we beat the hell outta them that season, not because we were an SEC team. LSU beat out UGA because they didn't even play in their CCG, plus, they too are an SEC team, so....

There was no other 1 loss team besides tOSU, and LSU had the better resume, demolishing VT in the same year. That's why LSU went in '07. LSU hasn't won one since, meanwhile, AU and Bama have, and look at the recruiting results since the shine from our '07 NCG ring wore off. Bama with 3 of 4, and AU with the other of those 4. NOT good for LSU. If you think otherwise, you don't follow recruiting. And if you don't think recruiting is key to on field success, you don't follow football.

I hope Auburn wins ! They did what noone thought they could do. When we beat them,I said,"They are not as good as people think. We made it look easy. But they turned it around and won the games they had to win. No chokeing (2011 NCG) It is good to see a team do the unexpected and prove all the football genius' wrong.

Yeah, because none of the good recruits from Louisiana ever went to Florida State when they were on their top 5 runs in the past.
