If you watch the video, you see Auburn run for a first down.

On first and 10 from the 13 yard line, they run for 4 yards to make it 2nd and 6 from the 9.

On 2nd and 6, they run for a couple more yards down to the 7 yard line. It should bring up 3rd and 4, but instead, the scoreboard on the TV says "2nd and Goal" from the 7 yard line.

On what should be 3rd down, they run a jet sweep to the 4 yard line. That should make it 4th and 1, but instead, it's called 3rd and goal.

The next play, Auburn's QB gets sacked, setting up the field goal making the score 7-6.

The sack should have occurred on 4th down resulting in a turnover on downs, but instead, Auburn was given an extra down to kick the field goal.

Auburn refs gonna Auburn.

Pretty sure Gus would have kicked the field goal at 4th and 1. And the field goal kicker is money

That can't be true. IF so then the whole staff should have been fired.

No it wasn't.

Go to 34:50 and watch for yourself.

LSU vs Auburn 2016

They switch from 3rd and 4 to 2nd and goal. Auburn got an extra down to try to get a TD.

Wow! Refs screwed up but so did our coaching staff for not noticing. I watched the game and didn't notice either.

They only people who screwed up were the guys in the trailer for ESPN.

0:26 left in the 1st quarter, they get a first down at the 38, making the 28 the line to get. Ran once to the 35 then the field flipped to start the 2nd quarter.

2nd quarter starts. 2nd and 7 from the 35. This is where things got dicey. The run picks up about 7, very close to the first. ESPN treats it as a first, but the chains don't move and Auburn is running the hurry up.

On 3rd and inches, they pick up about 8 to the 20.
First down and 10 from the 20: 7 yards to the 13.
2nd and 3: picks up 4 to the 9, First and goal.

1st down: 2 yards up the gut
2nd down: 2 yards around the end on the read option
3rd down: sack for a loss of 7
4th down: Field goal

I stand corrected. I went back and saw the 3rd and one.

It all worked out in the end. We lost, Miles/Cam gone, and now we have a breath of fresh air.

If we would of won...Miles would still be here and we would be getting ready for another miserable week of LSU football

I addressed this yesterday. Watch again, but ignore the yellow line and watch the sticks and the refs. ESPN got the graphics wrong. Ref stops the clock when Auburn gains a first down, but ESPN's line is way off.
