Auburn has sruggled on the road (2 road wins, both by 3 points against bottom of barrel SEC teams) and they are coming off a huge emotional win. Nutt has been known to pull amazing games out of his butt, especially when its all upside for him (he loves to be the spoiler). Number one has fallen 3 weeks in a row. Any chance Ole Miss puts us back in the conversation?

Does Ole Miss have a defense? Seriously. Where are they ranked in SEC?

Lets' say for grins AU loses to Ole Miss or UGA and Bama, and we beat Bama and win out. Does that put us in the game in ATL?

I think if anyone can cut up their weak secondary its masoli. and with the amount JJ scrambled and picked up yards last week i think masoli will have a huge game

No. But if we beat Bama and Ole Miss beats Auburn then the Iron Bowl will be very interesting for us. If going into the final week both AU and LSU have one loss then bama beating AU could send us to the SECCG.

Yes, if auburn has 2 losses, and LSU wins out (1 loss), lsu would go to atl cause aub and ala would both have 2 losses

Remember when Auburn was ranked #2 in 2006 and Arkansas went to their stadium and kicked their asses? That was fun

All I'm saying is just because you guys are ranked number 1 doesn't mean Houston isn't gonna give you hell. In fact, he coaches his best games against teams ranked in the top 5. So don't be shocked if they beat Auburn. That's all

well let's see. Auburn has 0 SEC losses now. LSU has 1. If Auburn loses to OM or UGA, that's 1 loss for them. Then the "and" in your sentence, means they ALSO lose to Bama, for a grand total of 2 Auburn SEC losses. Then further in the sentence we see "we(LSU) beat bama and win out". This equates to us losing 0 more SEC games and giving us a grand total of 1 SEC loss.

So ask yourself. If Auburn has 2 SEC losses and LSU has 1 SEC loss, does Auburn go to Atlanta because they beat LSU?

I understand you probably just missed the "and" but dont make your hotel reservations for Atlanta. Bama fans, however, can.

I pointed to this game several weeks back, around week 3 or 4 as being the most dangerous in this stretch because of Masoli. We can pressure the QB, and Masoli can still hurt us. BUT I don't think they can stop us on offense. Auburn loses this game only if we turn the ball over several times. Otherwise, worst case is a shootout, but I think we win something like 31-20

Im not saying he isnt gonna unload his playbook on us. But looking at statistics, Ole Miss has one of the worst defenses in the league. Masoli should be able to shread our secondary but that is yet to be seen. You cant win games in the league unless you play soundly. Arkansas jumped to a 21-3 lead in the first half against Ole Miss. There is always a chance of getting beat but I dont see the stars aligning for this one.

Now as an Auburn fan you know better than to assume last year will have anything to do with this year....

Remember last year? LSU got AU 31-10 and had there not been 4 seconds left on the clock 31-3 wouldve been your final. Did that have anything to do with this year?
