Youy guys are pathetic. Just because you don't like Lowery and think he needed an arse kicking doesn't mean the other 3 (who he didn't know) don't deserve justice for being jumped by a bunch of thugs.
But that's beside the point, of course. The battery on Lowery is a felony offense. While ya'll are basing your facts on employees who admit to not having seen the fight, the BRPD are going on testimony by numerous eye witnesses who were on the scene able to recount the whole incident. By those accounts, Lowery was helping a stranger back into his truck(Not only does the video support this, but it also makes the employees account that Lowery threw the first punch very unlikely-Lowery threw the first punch, then helped the guy back into his truck, then got knocked out? Why the cease fire by his opponents?)
Do I believe Lowery acted nobly because he is a stand-up guy? No. He was jacked up about his girlfriend situation and looking to be involved in a confrontation. I think under a totally different set of circumstances, Lowery may have jumped into a position where his actions deserved punishment, or at least condemnation. But that's not what happened.
Just because he is a D-bag looking for a fight doesn't mean he won't be the one to bravely stand up for someone being jumped. In fact, his gravitation to physical altercation makes him a likely candidate to stand up for someone being jumped.
This is actually a well thought out post. kudos.
let's see how it plays out. I really hope JJ isn't an innocent victim in all this. that would be a damn shame, but it's important for this case to go through due process and a speedy trial.
if the evidence is weak then he will get off, as he should.

That was an old story. This is the new and improved story. It's got electrolytes!
I do think he may be right about more charges forthcoming, but I don't think they are going to please his clients.

Bar Fight's sister gives one hell of a blowjob.

Also, this semi matches up with a story I heard last week, that some of the younger FB players were responsible, but refuse to implicate themselves.
Maybe JJ will say frick it and turn them in

I would love to see the supreme court case giving standing to the actual criminal act itself.
State of Louisiana v. Shady's Bar Fight
Joy.

So fast forward to the end(whenever the heck that will be) and let just say that JJ is found completely innocent...does he then come back at Lowery and the attorney for defamation and hurting his draft status???
Would he have much of a case if this in fact happended??
This is to all the lawyers and law students on the Rant

Wow JJ saying someone besides himself did the kicking would go a long way in a court room. Probably never happened before... the accused implicating someone else.
And since when do attorneys make arrest?

bar fight hit me in the back of the head at Fred's back in 2001. i hate that guy.
Dang, mine was in 2007. I guess he never graduated. I was laid out with brass knuckles, concussion, 7 staples, brain scan. It was Great! And nope, sorry, didn't make it to that SC game.

Bienvenue starting to realize he can't pin it on Jefferson and asking for more arrest to hopefully cast net. IF it was a fb player doing the kicking I don't think JJ is gonna snitch.

Apparently you have not been following the case. The police made their arrests without talking to any unbiased witnesses. They said they had none the day before they made arrests. We do not know if Lowery new the people in the truck, because we do not know who the other 3 are. Seems odd that 4 people who do not know each other all wind up with the same attorney so quickly after the incident.

Has anyone else heard that the first victim's father is an investigator for the DA's office? Could explain why this just won't go away. Or it could also just be one of another million rumors regarding this case.
