So me and family will be attending first game in Baton Rouge in 21 years .
Question regarding seating , we have tickets in section 304.
Do people stand in these sections?
Also have the option to get tickets in the upper level 500’s section chair backs on the first or 2nd row .
Willing to bump to upper level to avoid standing , my wife and I won’t be able to stand the whole game.

I’m guessing people don’t stand in upper level. But are these seats too high where it takes away from experience and feels like you’re a mile away.

Sorry for questions .. I’m older in age now and excited as first family trip back to LSU in a long time.
Regardless of how team is doing , we’re excited.

Thank you in advance

You will be able to sit wherever you desire. Attendance may hit 30K.

Not the season to be attending your first game. Orgeron has killed all enthusiasm.

Hunting season opening up, last night's loss and the overall feeling about this season and Coach O all spell disaster as far as atmosphere and attendance.

This. I would wait if it was me. Showing up next weekend would be depressing.

The replies alone should answer your questions.

You shouldn’t have to stand in the 300’s. If someone is standing in front of you, you should be able to move where you want to avoid it.

You shouldn’t have any issues in 304 with people standing, unless you’re on the first 10 rows. It’s just impossible to sit in those rows, and be able to watch the game. Can’t see anything if you’re sitting down on those rows. The 500 seats are actually really good seats with a pretty good view IMO. I’d honestly choose to sit there because of the chairbacks, but y’all shouldn’t have an issue at all with people standing, especially for ULM.

I'm very sorry you couldn't make it for all the championship teams but get to see this train wreck. Hope you enjoy being back home in tiger stadium though
