I think we might have to win around 13 more games and win games against Kentucky, A&M, Oklahoma, etc.

I think if we only lose 3 or 4 more games we get in.

3 games into SEC play and we're 2-1, simmer down. The same record but with the loss coming to Kentucky instead and the Rant would be reacting much differently.

Was that a good positiger post? I'm new to this don't be critical thing.

11 more wins should do it. A win today would've been great, but let's not go overboard.

JJ should make on of these for the team, just with a different body of course.

We could not have won a game and win the conference tournament and make the tourney

but in a serious answer a loss at UF in and of itself doesnt kill us. 2-1 in conference with 15 more conference games. Win all the home games 8 at home. Win all the home and you are 10-8. (Only difficult home conference game left is TAMU)

Very winnable road games->Bama, Auburn, Tenn, Arky. That gets you to 14-4. I expect us to slip up and lose 1-2 of those but if we can win just one out of UK and TAMU on the road then that makes up for that easily. I think if we split the above though at 12/6 we may be in.

The absolute thing we cant do is lose to State or Mizzou at home. Most of the others are interchangeable and can drop 1-2.

This is obviously a pipe dream but we have the talent to do it.

If we are a bubble team we get in. The committee will want to see Ben Simmons in the tourny. I'd say 12 and 6 in the SEC minimum and maybe 13 and 5. Might need to win a game or two in the SEC tourny as well. But if we are close, I think we are in

Do all 14 conference teams get into the conference tourney, or just some of them?

Everyone gets in to the SEC tournament, so theoretically, a team could make the NCAA tournament without winning a single regular season game. Of course, higher seeds get byes to make it easier.

Everyone. In 2008 UGA went 4-12 in conference came in last in the SEC went on a run and won the tournament.

excellent point. if there was a year that lsu could get in with 6 sec losses, it's this year.
The committee wants Ben Simmons in the tourney.

Committee always looks at last 10 games . We must win 8 of 10 going into tourney and win 1 game in tourney. They want Ben in the tourney, we will get bubble bump because of that

We can finish as one of the Top 4 seeds and win the SEC Tournament which would give us the automatic bid.

I know LSU fans don't even consider the SECT as an option because we haven't won it since 1981.

We haven't even been to the Championship Game since 1993 (a loss to Kentucky).

If we play like this why would you want this team in the tournament? It's so frustrating that we lose today to a team that we should have beaten by at least 10pts. This team is too talented to lose to scrub teams like this...
