you forgot Cubs

I've been in Baton Rouge for almost three years now and I don't think I've ever seen a cubs fan. Funny how now that they suck that happens.

I saw the story on Channel 2. I thought the guy from Georgia showed poor taste wearing his UGA shirt. He is being paid by the Astros to bring more fans in. Why would you antagonize people like that?

Oh my fricking God

You can't be serious?

MANY professional baseball players wear clothes underneath their uniform that are representative of where they came from.

It's no deal, at all.

no it didnt. there has never been a cardinals presence in this town since i've lived here. saying otherwise is just false. BR is an astros and braves town.

I mean I don't know about the rest of the town since I'm only experiencing campus. Just going from my perception.

I got the chance to speak with Steve Sparks when the caravan was in town.

Didn't say anything earth shattering, or anything I didn't already suspect, but management is ready to pony up the doe as soon as the young guys start reaching the majors.

But he emphasized and reiterated it to me. They will spend money, just have to be patient to let the young guys build as the core.

the 1997 Marlins is the most overt example of buying a championship in recent memory
