Assuming LSU wins 2 out of 3 in finals, would 9 games for them be a record?

I would think that 6 wins would be a record for the CWS.

For LSU...but Coastal played 9 just last year coming out of losers bracket.

It would only be 8 games played max! They are 4-1 right now.

Correct. Most you can play now is 8 games.
