Unless Alleva doesn't know about it, because I just heard an interview with him on Jordy's Sunday Night show and apparently a decision hasn't been made as far as 630pm tonight

i expect something by Tuesday one way or another. At that point, there is still now way to know where he storm will be and thats why there is at least a chance of it being in Dallas.

If Ike is coming this way the game will be played in Dallas or not at all. Out of principal maybe the message is not to play the game.

Daughter got an email advising if Ike is in gulf and threatening LA, game will be in Texas Stadium. They will know by Tuesday. They will also stay in Dallas if storm will be hitting LA until it's over.

Liar!

Many "esteemed" posters here have already declared that the game will not be in Tiger Stadium.

We'll find out later.

Done deal.

Fait accompli.

And my personal favorite: Book it!

The Weather Channel and the government don't know where Ike will make landfall, but the amateur coonass meteorologists here have figured it out using a protracter, a ruler, and a dot matrix printout of the map on NOLA.com.

Book it!

Jeff,

Your daughter can stay in my house (without her boyfriend) at no charge...

Just kidding. My wife will kill me on the spot but it wouldn't hurt to dream, right???

I'm sure he'll fade into oblivion and never admit he was wrong like so many other wannabe reporters.

And to the guy that asked, I wasn't listening the whole time, but the part I did listen to, Jordy was saying the game was still on for Tiger Stadium as of now

They have to say that for now.

Just hard to imagine a game at TS if we get another storm and it knocks power out again all over town. Still seems like a ghost town and a lot of people have gotten power back.

Noone knows where Ike is going to hit. This morning said between Texas and Florida. By the time anyone knows there won't be time enough to set up the game.

I call BS ... most posters on this board don't know what a protractor is, let alone know how to use one.

And I call BS on you sir! Why must you come on here and insult us like that? Everyone knows that a protractor is one of those big, fancy tractors used by farmers. As opposed to those smaller, regular tractors used for bush hogging and such.
