I'm more pumped about basketball. Candada is going to do great and all, but what Will Wade is doing in less than six months is a work of art. A year ago today, if you would have told me i'd be optimistic going into the 2017 season, I'd have laughed in your face.

Can we recall Sharon Broome and replace her with Wade?

shocking that the guy who identifies as a Pelicans fan on the site would be a bigger fan of college bball than football I know

But Wade has me believing

It's amazing how Wade has turned the roster over and replaced them with likely better players in such a short period of time.
It will take this team some time to gel with so many new faces but at least things are trending in a positive direction coming off a 2 win sec season.

With Smart committed and if you get Robinson in the fold somehow things are definitely looking up in the hoops program for the first time in a long time.

I'm also impressed with the staff he has put together. For so many years, LSU's staff was second rate and now you have a solid staff for every aspect of the program.

For this year I'm more excited for football. Mainly because I think we'll be pretty good this year (best since 2012).
I don't think we'll be a tournament team in bball, but I'm expecting NIT bubble. But to think that I'm expecting that from bball coming off one of the worst seasons I've ever seen, that is just a massive testament to what CWW has put together so far.

I am far more excited for 2018-2019 basketball than I am for 2018 football though. And that is solely attributable to CWW. All in all, the 2018-2019 football, basketball, and baseball seasons could be something special.

Football: Brennan at QB, veteran Oline, experienced receivers, amazing front 7 on defense + DBU = JIMP. Only thing that worries me is I anticipate a committee at RB.

Basketball: Will Wade. Nuff said.

Baseball: coming off a rebuilding year

If that's your expectation for this year- NIT bubble team- get ready to be very pleasantly surprised. I honestly think the current team will be an NCAA bubble team. If by some minor miracle we add Robinson and he is able to play this season, I think we are playing for an 8-12 seed at the end of the year. I know I've got my purple and gold glasses on, but WW is going to turn this thing around much quicker than anyone could ever have imagined.
