We didn't offer Dak until his recruitment was basically over. MSU offered him late summer/early fall and got his commitment early. We didn't offer until December, so late in the process we didn't have a legitimate chance. He might've been an "LSU fan" w/ a more reasonable assessment of his college QB skills and an early offer.
