It's sad that there is a thread on how Miles got a great letter about a great Player and it's only one page, but this dumb-arse wanna-be journalist rights some crap and itgets 6 pages. Look I don't give a rats arse who is playing but to say that fairness should play into big time college football is crap.

On the racist note, there definantly are people against JJ because he is black. I can't speak for anyone on hre but There are many people i work with and am friends with and that is there reason and they aren't afraid to admit it

With all due respect Doc, I totally disagree with this opinion. You don't go 13-0 in the SEC playing media politics. Coaches make player decisions based on who gives them them best chance to win with the players they have available. Miles keeps a very tight reign on information that goes on inside football operations, i.e. injuries, player discipline issues, etc. Yes, you can call it lies, deception, misinformation, or whatever you want. But the only information that matters are the results in the classroom and playing field. Last I checked, the program looks solid in those areas.

There is really a disconnect going on here. Your whole premise is that if we complain about any part of the LSU football program or heaven forbid the head coach that somehow we are disloyal and not grateful for the greatest football season ever.

Please get a life. You have a right to your thoughts and opinions and others have an equal right. Having discussions about coaching decisions and players is at least half the fun of being a football fan.

I don't give a damn if I offend you, CLM, or anyone else with my opinions. GG is a professional writer. It is his job to find things to write about. If he doesn't write about interesting topics he is out of his job. It is funny that CLM is allowed to do whatever he thinks is best to keep his job but GG is denied that privilege.

I like a lot of things about Les. One of the things that irritates me is his refusal to take responsibility for his decisions and his double speak rather than answer questions.

It is more than clear to anyone with more than half a brain that he lost faith in Jarret Lee his freshman season. At that point it would have been kind of him to go to Lee and suggest that he had no future with the Tigers and should transfer.

But instead he did what was best for Les Miles which was to keep him around in case things got desperate and he needed him. Well as we all know he definitely has needed him the last couple of years. For the most part Lee came through for him.

Now here is where the controversy and discussion comes into play. Lee showed loyalty to Les and the Tigers. Does return loyalty and just common human respect and decency demand that Les give him more playing time? Or does winning supercede everything else as our poster would suggest?

And how would the Tigers have been hurt if Lee had gotten some playing time? Would it mean we lost a game? Hell no! In fact you could make a very logical case that Jefferson played like crap against GA in the first half and it was the PRUDENT BEST DECISION to give Lee a shot if we wanted to win.

So again it is obvious. Despite his statements to the contrary, CLM never had faith in Lee even when he was playing well through the first nine games. He couldn't wait to get JJ, his running quarterback, back on the field. Didn't matter how JJ played it was a done deal.

Lee didn't stand a chance unless he played flawlessly which is a little much to ask of any quarterback. Can any of you who keep bringing it up tell me of any great quarterback who has played this game who never had two interceptions in one game? I don't believe you will find any.

And why do we keep beating this dead horse? Because it will be back next season, you can count on it. The minute Mettenberg throws a couple of interceptions, especially if one is a pick six, the backup running quarterback will be on the field soon to be starting.

That's CLM's decision but one he should take responsibility for and not try to pretend that anyone but him is in charge of playing time. And there is certainly no clause in his multi-million dollar contract that says he should expect to never be criticized.

He doesn't have to listen to fans but we damn well have a right to our opinions. Nuff Said!!

THis is what I've always wondered. He's in Shreveport, right? Does he get ridiculed out in public? I'm sure people recognize him and read his shite. Spit in his food, harass him in movie theater, etc?

You are right and its rediculous. As I said I don't know the motives of posters here but for some to say that there is no racism involved inthis is just delusional, because it is out there. Can't we just get along for one more damn month and support our TEAM as they go on to win us another title. Is that too muc to ask.

So what you are saying is that "win at all costs" and "don't care who you hurt to get there" is okay? Same thing that is part of the problem in our society today. It's okay to steal as long as no one sees you, hit and run is fine as long as you don't get caught. There are some standards people used to live by that are slowly seeping away from society that are definitely not making us a better people. Another is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Someone a little smarter than us said that a few years ago. I think some people are a little upset with the actual treatment without a valid explanation.

Alright, I'm out.

I have a sore spot that Miles continually deceives the fanbase and makes game related decisions based on media politics. Win or lose, it's never a good thing when that happens, and very clearly, it has happened this year.

Not that you care, obviously, but I have lost a lot of respect for your intelligence with your position on this. I didn't think you were this stupid, but alas, I was wrong.
