Art Briles as Special Assistant

Steve Sarkisian was hired by Alabama to be a “special assistant to the offense”. Why can’t we hire Art Briles in the same role? I don’t think it would fly to hire him as head coach, given why he was fired, but we need offensive help in the worst way. Hire Art now!

I don't think that Saban is installing a new offense with Sarkisian as consultant. I think that a consultant with a proven track record would be very helpful to LSU's offense. And help is needed soon.
But I do get your points about the distractions that he would bring.
