Mentioning just 2 years ago in 2015 Alex was playing shortstop at LSU. It seems like LSU gets mentioned a lot on tv in Pro Sports.

LSU is known in sports bro. Lol, we are one of the top sports programs in the nation. We put out alot of talent in all sports. Sure LSU gets alot of attention, and it's well warranted. Geaux tigers.

Arod is great about where players are from or played. He pointed out Springer was from Connecticut a couple of times.

Always like to hear idiots views on things they no nothing about which is evident from their comments!!!

Hey Einstein Cosmo LSU Baseball is number 2 all time in CWS titles only behind USC. Also remember LSU's baseball program really had done NOTHING of merit prior to Bertman getting to LSU in 83. So all of those titles have come since 83 which if they were to start the CWS in 83 when Bertman came to LSU we would be ahead of everyone.

Basically what that says is YOU ARE FLAT OUT WRONG!

There are different opinions about the success of a college athletic program.
Winning games
Winning conference titles
Winning national titles
Staying out of trouble
Educating the kids

LSU achieves most every one of the above

Expectations of winning the big one are in every fans mind but most of realize a program success is more than winning the title every year.

Getting to Omaha in baseball is huge, sure not winning is disappointing but look at the teams that never go.

Paul Mainieri is the Les Miles of college baseball. Guy craps his pants in tight games.

Timmy K said on ESPN this am that BB is moving to where you need 8 true BB ATHLETES on the field...see the Stros. Draft/field the best athletes and put them on the field in a position to excel.

Sounds like something CPM has been saying, for years!

You can say this about football, but not baseball.

I don't care what anyone says, but winning SEC Championships, Regionals, and Super Regionals are worthy of recognition with baseball. Baseball is finicky and LSU was in the National Championship series last year and knocked out by the eventual champs 2 years ago, both great years.

Football, however... There is no excuse as to why we do not have any kind of championship in the last 6 years. None. Alabama isn't an excuse, either.

This wasn't even true of Les Miles. Miles won zillions of cliffhangers.
