I don't know about his football skills, but he makes a great suit.

He played well, tried to run the ball a few times when the DE's were closing the corners, and he took a few shots.

I think that Armanti did decently. Our freakin WRs sucked it up though. He made some decent passes to them, they just couldn't catch them. I have no idea what that was all about and I bet Coach Moore will make them catch over and over again this week. Hate to be at practice.

After getting smacked by our defense a few times, they got gun shy. You could see the D got in their heads. I had the luxury of watching on TV with replays. It's like they were preparing for the hit before they caught the bal...it happens...and yes, I would hate to be them at practice this week.

didn't they throw SOS out of the process?

I think they technically did (not 100% sure) from the computer polls, but anytime there's a human element involved, SOS will always be a factor.

Armanti is a typical "Athletic running QB." Tears it up against lesser competition and falls apart against a decent team that puts the pressure on and blitzs a lot. "Athletic running QB's" aren't made for the SEC. Most SEC Defenses are too fast and DC's too smart in knowing how to shut them down......

Umm, Tebow won the heisman last year.

LSU defense manhandled Armanti and the O-line, but he was overthrowing a lot of receivers. IMO, he didn't look as good as advertised but again the LSU D had a lot to do with that.

They were getting smacked...hard. Can't blame them for taking their eyes off the ball to see who's about to pound them. I hope we can keep that kind of pressure up all year.

I was impressed by Armanti and his composure...well, the whole teams' composure. Armanti is quick and he throws a great pass. He's quite a weapon to have.

Armanti Edwards is a talented QB, and IMHO he could've played D1 ball.

Pretty sure he is playing D1 ball.
