EXACTLY! They are a 5-4 team. No excuses. Play Tiger FB - establish the run with LF, and mix in some play-action with BH. Jet sweeps, TE pass plays, screens, and get the ball to the WRs in space. We are more ATH than they are across the board.

ON DEF play our base 4-3 with 3 LBs on the field to stop the run. Safeties need to match up with TE's, CBs get the WR's. They don't have the ATHs to beat us.

No excuses, play football and get a W!

just hope LSU is not going to rely on LF offensively to win the game because Alabama's Henry had his worst game against Arkansas. LSU needs to play loose and aggressively.

And Henry is close to being as good as LF. Florida has better run defense than Arky.

Lsu fans on this board have been building Arkansas up like they are undefeated.

I don't know about building them up, but I hope Miles watched their last game. That team has 60+ minutes of fight and will in them win or lose. Our guys will need to match that. The heart of their team is what's impressive versus the talent of ours is what's impressive.

An old saying is "hard work beat talent when talent doesn't work hard". It's not what you do during practice, it's what you do beyond it.

Imagine what could happen if the talent brought heart with it. I think domination could happen. We'll see what these players are made of tomorrow.

irrational negativity

you just described yourself.

seriously, you are worse than the fans you bitch about. People tell you this all the time, yet 99% of your posts are still whiny arse complaints about other fans.

How about try posting about the actual game/team instead of posting about posting so much.

And take a look in the mirror.

That was a Great DL! And that tackle-tight end tandem on the right side of the Arkansas Line with Shawn Andrews and Jason Peters has to be one the best T-TE blocking tandems in the history of the SEC. The only other similar tandem that I can think of on that level is the Tiger T-TE tandem of La'el Collins and Dillon Gordon.

Dillon Gordon has at times reminded me of Big Peters.

Arkansas was able to rush for the most yards (201) against that 2003-04 Team.

This year, the Razorbacks have another good OL, and they are improving from where they were early in the season. I think it's the left side with Denver Kirkland and Sebastian Tretola that is really their strength.

And LSU was in a dogfight with Syracuse and E Mich.

Don't judge a team by their worst performances, judge them by their most recent.

Arky is legit dangerous; LSU will need to score 30pts to win. I just hope we play aggressively.

Hah great pic of Andrews. I say he was as good as an Olineman that has been around this league in the last 20 years. People like to give Nutt hell about Peters being a TE. He was essentially the RT except for about 4 plays a game. Arkansas had another offensive lineman those seasons that had a long NFL career. His name was Bobby Williams. All they had to do was point Talley in the direction they wanted him to run and he would get 20.

Not stirring but just a couple of things about the Hogs right now. DL is better than given credit for by most. and this is a whole different team than played Toledo. I feel as confident about this trip to Death Valley as I ever have any.

Arky's OL is legit though not much (if any) better than LSU's.
9 sacks in 9 games vs. 10 sacks in 8 games.
so.. Better pass protection, but they aren't as quick..getting "downfield" blocks is not common.
We should do pretty good containing their rushing attack.
We'll be tested in the secondary, for sure.

They gave up 222 yards rushing to Ole Miss!

I think we'll see a determined Fournette and group propel this team to a win.
They're only averaging 0.89 sacks/game so Harris should be able to settle down and make some nice plays..

around 100 of that was from Chad Kelly wiggling his way out of a sack and picking up a ton of yards. That was frustrating.

Yeah we don't hit home runs in the rushing game...Collins doesn't have great top end speed but we usually nickel and dime the defense with the rushing game when it's working
