Well our D held them to the same score so far except we didn't have the benefit of four fumbles.

Is it talent, coaching, or scheme that causes our line to poor?

It's not talent.

hmmmm, for all those that were praising our superb defense after last week for only holding fl to 13 pts....

Arkansas D is making ours look pretty bad....5 sacks on tebow plus multiple times pressured....its called blitzing, stunting, and coaching....lsu needs to learn it

No. In 2007, Auburn beat Florida the week before we played UF and completely shut their offense down. That didn't translate into success for our defense the following week. They showed us exactly what to do, but we didn't follow up.

We beat FL in 2007. Hester had like a million 4th and 1's. Right?

Yes. Everyone seems to think our defense is awesome. I don't.

A different week and Florida overlooked them.

Well, UF is running a different game plan this week. They didn't pass much last week at all. They were intent on protecting Tebow by running and running alot. LSU wasn't stopping them, but a lot of it had to do with our offense sucking and putting them on the field most of the game.

Also realize that on defense, UF is missing their best player in Spikes, and he is a key to their run defense. Once Arky started effectively running, UF had to respect the run with Spikes out and their DBs are now exposed.

Don't think LSU has the experienced DT's to play Haley's schemes. Ones LSU has have been disappointing. DOwns looks promising though.

Because Demps can't run their d-lineman over and they don't have Alem running up the field EVERY PLAY.

If someone wants to say that our defense is improved, then, I'll agree. But you're right, it isn't awesome, and it isn't anywhere close to our 2003 or 2006 defenses.
