Second on the depth chart is better than third and someone who is playing in MLB. So yes is the answer.

My thoughts exactly! At this point, I feel lucky to have JJ and JL. With the other defections, these two have been working hard and we should get behind both of them.

if JJ starts the next 2 years it wouldn't make a difference what JL did since the ZL signing screwed us for 2012 and 2013

In the end, this should all play out pretty good for 2012 recruiting. If Miles can't bring in a Top 5 QB by then, well...
