Everyone gets so butt hurt over lsu baseball when we lose bullshite mid week games and one of the first sec series. We are killing it in this tourney right now and easily looking at a national seed. With all indications right now heading back to Omaha if we continue staying as hot as we are. There was absolutely no reason we should fire pm. I think it was because we fired CLM and CJJ.

I wish I could go back to September of 2016 and break your laptop over your head.

This is the problem. Since 2010, our teams have often been a bubble host/national seed team, gotten hot the last few weeks and SEC tourney to lock up hosting, only to fizzle out by regionals/supers or go 0-2 in Omaha. Had we not lost 6 midweek games, a seed would've been locked up a month ago instead of having to go on a run.

None of these threads are needed. The CPM haters already know they are wrong.

I do hope they will learn their lesson and let the season play out before they offer their "expert" opinion.

The key phrase is :"if we stay hot as we are."

Pressure starts next week in Baton Rouge and hopefully the following weekend.

Yep. That's what makes a lot of people sick of CPM including me. That shite is getting old.

Losing the midweek games is not as big a thing as Skip told Paul Manieri to not be afraid of losing mid week games to find out who you can count on later in the year. This is for the uninformed who bitch about insignificant stuff.

It all depends on what he does in Omaha. At least that used to be the standard for LSU baseball.

Just wait til he loses a game short of the CWS final. This place will burn him in effigy.

fair enough TigerBR1111. how often do you feel LSU should make it to Omaha? and how often should our team in Omaha win it all?

CPM handles the criticism just fine . It's people like you that have a problem with it. CPM knows that criticism and lofty expectations are just part of being the head coach at LSU.
Why is it you little weenies are coming out of the woodwork starting these threads?
CPM understands that when things are not going great that the head coach is going to take a lot of the blame.

The team was doing poorly/mediocre earlier.

The team is kicking arse now.

Those statements can both be true. The fact that the team has evolved and improved doesn't make the first sentence false.

For me it's not necessarily how often we need to get to Omaha or win it all. It's just frustrating watching them play in the NCAA tournament lately because it seems they choke under the pressure and lose to teams that we should beat. We don't compete well under pressure in the NCAA tourney the past several years and that to me is a reflection of the head coach.
