If so, sorry you didn't get yours. Take that 30 bucks and hit the Chili's. If you brought a date, take that 60 and upscale it at walk-ons.

Right? The nerve of some people wanting to get what they paid for.

Why does this anger you? Are you paying the people back?

That's not the point. Season ticket sales help LSU. Loosing this game while not LSUs fault will certainly hurt LSU. I'm not going to hurt LSU.

Considering none of the TAF or tradition fun fees are being refunded I'd say LSU isn't taking too crazy of a hit in the long run.

That's exactly right. We are sharing the burden with LSU.

It's exactly the point this dude was trying to make. Regardless of how small the amount, if I pay for a good or service and I don't receive that good or service, I expect to be refunded.

To your point, refunding the face value of tickets for one game isn't going to break LSU. And if it were that big a financial concern, tbe game would have been rescheduled or refunds would have been withheld.

The hate for Alleva is fricking stupid. He has done some great stuff for the less popular sports like gymnastics, tennis, softball, etc. and our football, baseball, and basketball programs are rolling right now.

I don't get the hate. Its so stupid. Do people not remember how bad other ADs have been?

We operate at a surplus and donate extra money to the university as well. New very nice* baseball stadium, great addition to football stadium, new basketball facilities, new tennis facilities, and other stuff I'm forgetting.

ETA:

And if they refunded everyone's tickets at an average of $40 a ticket for 90,000 fans, it would cost the athletic department $3.6 million dollars.

ticket prices

I'm not saying they should or shouldn't, but saying that won't do anything to LSU is just not true.

Let's take your reasoning to its logical conclusion.

Why should anyone expect to attend a football game just because they spent a few grand supporting the program?

So when you cut that check to LSU do you include a note telling them to keep the tickets cause youre just doing it for the good of the program?

Yes dipshit. Look, it's obvious that you did not go to the game or purchase tickets. But i buy tickets with my hard earned money and if the game is cancelled I deserve a refund. LSU doing the right thing and you should probably shut up at the risk of sounding even more stupid than you already have. Props to LSU
