Tend to agree. Key is already being touted as at least a top 5 pick next draft. If he plays this year and either underperforms because not fully healed or gets hurt again it could cost him beaucoup money. Don't expect to see him this year or at best limited role.

neither you or the rant "deserve" shite. his personal situation is none of our business. I fully understand that high profile "entertainers", which athletes certainly are, are under the public microscope but we should just let this go. arden key is a student and a "kid" and he's LSU. give the man his privacy; no matter how much your curiosity is aroused.

It happened to Johnathon Allen. All offseason he was said to be a locked in top 5 pick. His physical revealed he possibly had a bad shoulder and he fell to #17.

although technically you're probably correct, Key is the best defensive player at an elite football school and a likely top pick in the next NFL draft. He's a public figure. Fans/media/etc want to know about any situation (surgery being a prime one) that affects his ability to play.
Not a damn thing wrong with wanting to know. And since there are so few facts being put out about his situation, we're free to speculate. It's just the way it is.
