Apu Ika is the real deal, guys

Saw it in person today but re-watching the game on the app right now and this man is going to be unstoppable. The way he plays reminds me of a nose tackle version of Arden Key. He can lose some weight and get quicker but he's already quick at 350 with excellent hand placement and technique while being strong as a bull.
He's going to be better than Sopsher.

Everybody loved the Ika pickup when it happened, but you can rightfully complain about the lack of DL in our 2019 class. People only complained about the Sopsher deal because we lost another highly talented guy from Louisiana at a position of need.

I didn't say that they didn't like Ika. I'm saying that posters on this board used sophser to beat O over the head with. I would imagine that O wasn't blindsided by sophser choosing bama.
2020 is shaping up to be DL heavy. People thinking that O is somehow neglecting the DL are fooling themselves. He's also not above getting a grad transfer or juco guy. People were just looking for a reason to bash O.

If accurate, this is really good news.
We’ve failed with Valentine ( two years), Livingston, Sophsher and, until now, Shelvin.
This is a big deal
Let’s hope Shelvin continues to improve, too.
