the coaches got it right
I always agree with the coaches more than with the arse press
isn't it the press that got obama elected???
sorry, that last comment should be on the political talk
But isn't the polls all political anyway

nothing....besides playing cupcake....but bama got 2 first place votes for their performance against VT and rightfull so--they should be rated higher than USC......unfortunately USC plays Ohio State who is overrated every single year and i'll have to place my hope in Cal or Notre Dame for an upset.......or pray for the typical trojan choke game against Stanford or some other scrub

iowa drops out of the 25 after a close win over a crappy team, ohio state doesn't move after a close win over a crappy team. nice.

at you thinking Northern Iowa and Navy are even CLOSE to the same level. Navy would kill Northern Iowa. And OSU dropped, FWIW.

I'm not suprised about our rankings. What suprised me is that Ohio St is ahead of us after the way they played against Navy!

Because:

A) it's not like OSU was ahead of LSU before, or anything, and
B) LSU was so dominant in their performance against a worse team than Navy

You sure they're worse than Navy?

Just comparing last year's records, Washington wasn't even close. I do think they're a lot better than they were last year, but still not as good as Navy.

I think it would be a good game. I think Navy would have trouble with Locker.

Perhaps. I do think it would be a good game, but Navy would still come out on top.

Hey Buck, do I sense some animosity just b/c the SEC has raped your team in the last 2 NC games? To quote a dear friend who has passed, " Don't be bitta"

Not at all. It first started when somebody asked why OSU's ahead of LSU, and I explained why. I'm not bitter at all.

You know, how do you think LSU fans would be reacting if LSU had lost in the NC game two years in a row?

Ummm, I bet it wouldn't be pretty.

Me, if LSU was in the NC game two years in a row and lost, I'd still be excited as hell about my team. I mean, how many teams actually play in the NC two years in a row?
