They will get what they want. Mile's will be gone and they will have a new coach to hate come January.

Definitely. I truly hope the next coach has lsu playing absolute perfect football in every facet of the game because if not these same people will start the same vicious cycle of negativity.

Herman has always had great offenses, even against the best defense! He is effective against Alabama

Miles has continued to struggle to score points and he's straight poo against Alabama on offense

So yeah Herman gets the benefit of doubt when they turn it over. Would love to see their total yards from this game

As they should. May score one or two more before it's over. These weeknight games are a crapshoot.

looks like a double digit victory in a tough road environment on a short week. overcame some bad turnovers and beat up qb for a solid win.

Great teams finish strong.

Such a great coach.

Really needed them to drop this game though.

Suddenly it's 40 to 16 on the road vs an undefeated divisional opponent who plays you tough..

winning by double digits with multiple redzone turnovers is pretty impressive stuff.

They are a good team with a good coach. No arguing from me. I think he would do good here. We won't get him.

This will be a damn sight better than sputtering in every phase of the game and looking like total dogshite in the season opener after an entire spring and fall practice....wouldn't you agree?

Even as such an offensive minded coach.. you can't even nit pick and say he has no defense.. like many other offensive coaches. His teams typically play solid on both sides.. Especially against greater competition.

Wish they had lost this game though, even if it meant many LSU fans questioning him and all the idiots coming out saying they don't want him.

It's a pretty interesting dynamic that the same people that trash pretty much everything involving lsu football end up defending short comings of other coaches and programs. It really makes no sense.
and just where did I defend anybody? Pretty simple statement I made.

Let's keep Miles. I like mediocrity and never winning the west much less the SEC.

The man makes a lot of sense in his interviews as well. That would be refreshing.
