You know what the folks who do have their hearts in it have in common? They always look to make themselves better.

It can be a QB with 28-30 passing and he doesn't sit back and say to himself: "Hey....not bad." He tries to figure out where he messed up so he can get to 30-30.

So, you think JJ isn't trying to better himself, or maybe you've never struggled and not had an answer of your dilemna? I have, and I know how frustrating it has been in my life, trying whatever I could to break through and coming up flat. It's not fun, and although you can't quit, and I don't think JJ has, you also have to have a little empathy for a person going through it and give them the benefit of the doubt because you would want likewise, and it certainly doesn't help matters to berate him.

This is all Miles' fault here. He needs to make a move and I'm sure JJ knows it's coming. It's just one of those things sometimes when the harder you try and harder you work the worse it gets, one step forward and two steps back. Anyone who's encountered challenges in their life knows this and understands how frustrating it really is.

JJ may be a great kid and I can see the desire he has to get better. His desire obviously cannot overcome the fact that he is a terrible QB. Easily the worst to start for LSU in my 40 years on this planet. This is big time football and while JJ is young, he isn't a kid. He is a grown man that doesn't possess what it takes to be even an average QB in any league, much less the SEC.

"God never gives you more than you can handle."

I've never understood why people say this. Plenty of people get more than they can handle. It's what a nervous breakdown is-not being able to "handle" the cards you've been dealt. When you get a terminal disease-it's more than you can handle.

Good thing he doesn't play for Spurrier. ESPN would have tape of him in the fetal position under the bench.

Cry me a river!! Another one of these post. This is football, this is the SEC. JJ is a man if he can't take it, quit. Life is harsh and rude and you have no right to be treated good in it.

our Oline is not the best by a long shot. Always overlooked when bashing QB's by neverhasbeens

This something else that I'm getting sick of. Ppl telling others not to be critical of JJ, then proceed TO CRITICIZE OTHER PLAYERS IN ORDER TO DEFEND JJ.

It was not the OLines fault last yr, and its not the WRs fault this yr. Hes just not very effective. And when JJ sits, IMHO you will see the difference in the other players.

Geezum man. I know it's life itself to some of us, as there isn't a whole lot else to get excited about, but it's still just a game, and Jefferson is but a college kid doing everything he can to be successful. It's not as if he's pissing all over everyone's parade out of spite

I agree with this, but have you watched his sideline antics, demeanor ?? He throws his receivers, line, everyone under the bus in seconds. Maybe I'm reading him wrong. but that is what I see.

However, harassing, booing and such, is not acceptable behavior on this level. If the players are pros and getting paid, help yourself !

Jefferson is still just a KID when you get down to it. He wants to be successful more than any of us do, and he's doing all he can. Maybe it's the lack of coaching that's causing his ineffectiveness, maybe it's him, maybe it's even a lack of talent. I say this not to incriminate, but one thing it's not a lack of, and that's a desire to be successful. People who would harass this young fella on the internet or in person if they dared, which I doubt they would have the guts to, are just TERDS to begin with and need their butts kicked. People need to realize where the line is and don't cross it, but it seems there's always that flake who wants to skate the edge and can't controll themself.

That is all... End of Rant... For now.
Hes not just a KID! Hes a man...the same age of men that go to war every year in this country. This whole KID BS is ridiculous!
