What is wrong with you people? The guy is a great coordinator, but never again a head coach at a major institution. We can do way better, so stop throwing his name around every 10 minutes. Herman should be #1, then Fisher, etc.

he'll be a HC somewhere within 3 years

you realize he is only 41, right?

and that he was an NFL head coach at 31, right?

people grow, mature, and get better at what they do. He is the best play caller in CFB

Fired after one season by Al Davis who called Kiffin "a flat-out liar … bringing disgrace to the organization".

Kiffin was issued a public reprimand by SEC commissioner for accusing Florida’s Urban Meyer of recruiting violations only to have the commissioner cite him for the same then shame Kiffin into apologizing to Meyer.

Kiffin told Alshon Jeffery he would end up pumping gas if he went to SC Gamecocks. Jeffery went onto SC and is currently with the Bears, who prior to this year applied the franchise tag to Jeffery.

Kiffin left the Tennessee head coaching job in one season leaving for Southern Cal. Students tried to block the exits and started fires in response to Kiffin’s departure.

Kiffin returned to USC from 2010-2013, later fired by Pat Haden who decided to rid the university of its coach during the 3rd quarter of a 62-41 loss at Arizona State.

Not going to happen bud. Jon is doing great with his NFL gig and he will be the next Madden.

Saban sucked in the NFL not college football. Don't pick and choose the facts as you see fit.

No, he had to build up a program and make it successful. He did the same thing at Alabama, even losing to lowly ULM in the process, before he achieved the program he has now.

Kiffin went into two very favorable situations and made a huge mess of them. He is not head coach material.

That whole organization was dysfunctional when the old man was alive and Kiffin was against drafting Jamarcus.

USC looked like they were taking steps back when he was canned, but they were also under NCAA sanctions. They were really good his 2nd year.

I don't really like Kiffin and I'm not convinced he'll ever be a resounding success as a HC, but I can't say with any certainty he still can't be. It's not liked he walked into some great situations at any of his previous HC gigs.

Look at his last 3 HC gigs; USC, Tenn, Oakland Raiders - there really isn't much more that needs to be said. If this is the man you want running our program, then put down the crack pipe and admit yourself into rehab before you OD.
