Anyone still talking about this team better than the 2011 one?

LF7 surely made the O looking good, but the D is not even close. We were beating UF , auburn, UT, and UGA by 30+ points, ole miss by 50. Damn, wasn't that D team and the honey badger sensational!

I guess if this team goes undefeated we can make that comparison but...no. 2011 was the best LSU team ever, only one close was 2003.

The greatness of 2011 team was mostly due to the D, I think the 2007 team was better, despite two 3OT losses.

2011 defense and special teams. 2007 offense for sure was better but the defense collapsed that year. 2011 would've stayed undefeated in 2007. I don't know if 2007 goes undefeated with 2011's schedule.

2003 was the best. The most well rounded. Great D. Reliable Offense.

This team is no where close to 2011. Outside of Alabama all games were complete blowouts

2006 maybe most talented and underachieved. That roster should've won the NC.

You are right. But from the first game, we know we have a truly special squad in 2011.

The amount of talent on this team, the number of future NFL players, it's at least in the same neighborhood. IMO
The potential is there.
