Anyone stayed at Doubletree in downtown Houston before?

Trying to figure out if it would be a good place to stay for BYU game? Is there a monorail?

Yes, there is. Not sure how close it runs to the Doubletree though.

Yes, I used to work in the building that it is attached to. It's not really a convenient walk to the light rail.

I stayed there for the bowl game. It was great. I was hungry after the game and the only place open was an Einstein bagels in the hotel up the street. long story short, I ended up having cocktails with the Football team.

I stayed at a hotel last night. I cant tell you where, but there are two trees involved.

Stayed there dozens of times over the past 10 years. It's only 5 blocks from the rail at Main St.
Haven't tried to take it back after a game at NRG though. Not sure how long the wait would be.
