Some of those people at fan day are a kind of strange. I just never understood a grown man by himself in line for this stuff. I understand wanting an autograph, I like autographs cause I think they look good on things, but seriously these guys are young.

It's a big business...

Typical Toolame piece of shite response. Has it dawned on your holier than thou arse that its possible a person could be perceptive enough to see what happens in the world and make a comment on it... without actually partaking in said activity.

Yes some people may have jobs and not have to resort to this. But some people don't have jobs and may use this as a means to put food on the table. Maybe you should spend less time being an arse and more time trying to realize there is a whole world out there aside of the few square feet you occupy. Dumbass.

I admit I have 2 SI covers signed by Saban and Mauck but I didn't stand in line to get them....or buy them.

Ya, I have a few autographs.... all of which I purchased on ebay. The only autographs I sold were ones I bought on ebay and didn't have room for anymore. Not sure if I made profit or not as I didn't keep track. I suspect I loss my arse. Oh well. Wives have a tendency to do that.

Yup. If I'm not mistaken, a lot of memorabilia shops have signings where they pay athletes to sit at their store they charge people per item to come ans get crap signed. Almost all of those items get resold on ebay... or other "smaller" sports shops.

They should get a real job instead of making profits off of the signatures of college students that can't even make anything off of themself. I'm pretty sure LSU doesn't put on fan day for losers to go sell merchandise on ebay.

I can't say for sure because I have a job, but again, I think your short sightedness is keeping you from seeing that maybe some people without jobs are trying to find jobs.

Newsflash! The economy is not exactly great right now. Just playing devils advocate.

I don't work weekends. The point was most people have income that doesn't need to be supplemented by selling signatures on ebay.

I knew a comment about the economy was coming. Yeah some people can't find jobs and some people don't want to work. They rather do stuff like that. No need to get all worked up.

And yet you lump them all in one. And I do believe you were the one getting worked up because you thought I was one of those "types" of people. I'm merely pointing out not everyone is as entitled as you.

I'm not worked up at all. I don't care if you are one of those or not. Please explain how I am entitled?

They got a free scholarship and a chance to show off their talents and maybe make it to the NFL where they may get a multi-million dollar contract.

Fan Day is good PR for the school, the fans and the team.

Stop being a douche.
