I think it was Jordan Jefferson's freshman yr. LSU had the game won til the final drive where LSU's defense had a slew of penalties. I think Tyson Jackson karate kick or poke an Arkansas player in the eyes. Another LSU defensive player kicked the football causing a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

The Bengals vs Pitt reminded me of that LSU game...

Rahim Alem I think

I had mailed it in by the time that game came around. I think it was when Ole Miss went up 21-3 when I ultimately stopped caring, along with losing to #1 Alabama solely due to lack of basic QB competency

The karate chop was Tyson Jackson with the giant white cast against Kentucky in 2007

And yet, despite not caring, you are on here posting over 7 years later...you had quit caring about the team that had just won the national championship the previous year, and lost a ton of talent to the NFL/graduation.....and you turned on them during their 8 win 2008 season.

You are a PRIME example of a classic negatiger. Congrats.

And we got beat on a last minute TD pass by little dick Nathan. They kicked off to Chad Jones instead of Trinidon and we attempted a 65 yard FG I think?? We gave them that game

Yep, I think it was on Chris Hawkins too. To the OP, I don't remember that game being anything as bad as the Bengals game last night.

ETA: Was Hawkins the last senior CB to START here?

Did he get a personal foul that game on a good hit?

Doug Dale Malveto was the defensive coordinator that year.

If I remember right, the defensive backs gave up two huge plays because they were head hunting and didn't try to wrap up. They whiffed on tackles leading to easy points.

That was a home game with the all white uniforms and old gold helmets. The op is referring to an away game. Maybe 09? 10?

So are you pissed about all this positive momentum for the program right now? Or, do you just take the party line and say not worried, miles is still coaching.

9-3 season and a Texas Bowl win is positive momentum? Do you not think the LSU program needs to be at a higher level than this? If so, that's fine.
