I want to take my elderly mother to watch the team and to see how well she manages the stairs to her seats.

I think the team is off today, but this week's practice times should be emailed out later in the day.

Yeah, I talked to Virginia in the baseball office and she told me they were off today and didn't know what the schedule for the week would be just yet.

To each his own. Condon used to say, that's why God made vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream.

The team plays split squad scrimmages after each practice. These give fans a chance to see what the newcomers look like in game situations as well as evaluate the team as a whole. I like knowing as much as I can before the season starts and I just enjoy college baseball.

Lots of people care. The practice portion isn't highly attended, but many people go to the scrimmages for the reasons Scuba mentioned: People enjoy baseball and you get an idea of the team going into the season. It's not difficult for some people to stop by the field on their way home from work and spend some time outside watching ball especially when the weather is nice.

Because we are fans of LSU and the game of baseball. Not the ones who show up in June for the post season because it's the "BIG" game(s). Every game is big to me. I of course speak for myself on this topic.
