If so, can you give us update on what's happening? How big in the presence of LSU fans? How are the locals reacting to this (like the extra business or hate the increased traffic)?

It's an NFL city so I doubt they even notice the extra traffic

GB is a rather small city (< 100K people) so an influx of 10s of 1000s of extra people would be noticeable, I would think.

And considering NFL teams don't travel much unless Pitt is in town.

Green Bay is about the size of Denham Springs. When a Quilting convention comes to town, they know it. I know a couple folks from up there and they are excited to have LSU in town for the party. For the most part we should be treated really well.

Are you asking what time the bars close in Wisconsin?

It is noticeable in Chicago. For such a big city, I have seen LSU fans everywhere I turn.

You can't buy anything at liquor stores after 9. Latest last call will be around 1:30, with the lights coming on & the shotgun reloading at 2 AM at the latest.

Can't buy liquor after 9 at the store or at a bar? This is huge. I need to know.

That just means that grocery stores, gas stations, liquor stores, churches, and funeral homes stop selling then.

It's Wisconsin. If you need more booze or beer, at any time, you'll be fine and in very good company. Everybody sympathizes with that cause and will offer you another.

Wisconsinites know that same situation, well, and they'll be glad to give you another if you're friendly (not a problem for Louisianans)...EVEN if LSU wins, so long as you're friendly/sociable and a drinker.

Note: It's not like the SEC states. Packer or pro football is far more important in ALL parts of Wisconsin, except Madison. When the Packers are not playing, the party atmosphere is far more important, even if Wisconsin doesn't win.

I think what you'll find is Louisianans and Wisconsinites are quite similar in a lot of ways... Other than the weather/climate.

When I called to make my reservations at a steakhouse, the guy said they're anticipating twice the crowd and party atmosphere of a regular Packers game.
