I must admit herman is a Mensa dude, around 138. We all, I think would prefer a "young" coach...not jumping the shark, but shitaka.!!## down the bayou man...seems to be hitting ALL the right gears, especially with oline, reassembled, delegation to his peers, not ready to crown him YET. .BUT..I haven't seen halftime adjustments since Saban...just saying, what do you fans think, ETA: not on coach board cause I'm still jacked about this game, BTW predicted on board 52-9, 1 td short of 1 pt off!!### GEAUX TIGERS

He's only 55 that's plenty young enough. Coaches stops are only around 10 years at best now a days anyway. He's coached two games LSU was supposed to win. Next week will tell more.

Certainly have a foot in the door way. anxious to see how LSU fares down the stretch. They have been at times unbearable under Les.

I love his enthusiasm. I love that he mixes it up and keeps defenses guessing. I love halftime adjustments. I would like to see him get the job because he is a Louisiana guy and an LSU guy -- more invested.

He needs give Alabama a game and to win the rest to make a case for his goal, IMO.
He can't have another half like last night and expect to win the rest.

True, all that...not first half, gumps, would roll us. That being said......yes since I've felt optimistic about beating Saban n company, sat night, death valley, coach O, LF7, hopefully with DG....the stars might just align!!#

Don't forget that we need our fans to stay in the stadium until the end of the game. There is always the possibility of an upset.

When I make my trips back home and when I lived there, until 32, I agree, always stayed till the end, bitter or sweet. ..I think charmin, has soften up the Millennium group. ..or I'm just getting old. Either way I agree no matter what you stay till the end......props to u sir.!!!!!

I am a CEO guy

- missing many players last night
- playing a mid tier team - not a bad team
- OL has not had time to get set at all - this is a LOL item
- you best player has yet to play a down for CEO - in LF7
- QB is still learning on the fly
- the staff working with CEO as head coach is still a new thing

but

- he has his staff into the game
- he is giving over 60 players a game PT
- he sits and rewards players based on what they did in the week of the game
- the sidelines are night and day to what they looked like pre CEO
- Steve is allowed to feel the game and call his game
- #82 and TE's are making big plays
- the pass action is setting up the run game

I am up cooking early for lunch at church - so I am not drunk

We beat Ole Miss and Bama at home - we win out and CEO is our new coach - we can put a SEC flag up because the Gators or Tenn will not be able to beat this team

Not sure a 2 loss SEC champ makes the dance - they will have a chance - they will be talk of a one loss aTm or Bama going to the dance over Lsu - don't care

just win out

oh yea - Auburn has to lose one more game

I agree with you. LSU has suffered from total predictability in recent years. Now the opposition doesn't know who is coming at them. I like us airing it out from time to time. Exciting!

I teach "Godly Play" for our youngsters including my own, just couldn't sleep in, too used to work I guess, but dang good analysis, btw:our team...not just mine! Spot on oline, LF7,etling, Multiple players, and so on....I just hope if for nothing else O, gets a "W" against the rebs. I love our Tigers dearly.....n believe that they, hope, they will make a wise choice going forward with respect to the H.C. but for all his heart even if doesn't work out, let the coach at least beat the rebs.....btw, Im pulling for the team to do excellent with him!!#!!

My intuition tells me that Orgeron has been around the block long enough to where he could make a good fit for the next coach. I say this, provided he makes a few changes with assistant coaches and views the Ensminger thing as a temporary fix. Bonus points for him is he has a vested interest in LSU, having grown up in South Louisiana and an LSU fan in his youth. If anybody gets the culture with the program, he does.

I don't know guys. I understand the cards are stacked against him. QB with a weak arm but makes good decisions. Our team looks unpolished. And I fully expect that in some areas. But I would like to see a little arse chewing going on. I am all about positive vibes. Those kids have endured a lot of things the past 2 seasons. But, damn... O needed to dig in the players arse a little in the first half. Or at least bark at the Assistant Coaches to do it. 30 mins went by and they played shitty. I think he is so worried about getting the job that he's slightly jaded.

I don't see us winning out during that brutal stretch, hope I'm wrong.

O is now a solid third on my list behind Herman and Jimbo. If we cannot get one of them, O would be better than any second-tier choice and I'd take him over Fedora, Mullen, etc. Give him a short term contract, the same assistants' budget as Les, and see what he can do.

Hell 55 is still young. But Herman is only 40. Herman could coach at LSU for 25 years with multiple NCs. He could be for LSU what Bo Rein could have been.

If you have a chance at that with a great young coach, you take it.
