I think any thread with this God forsaken phrase in the title is going to be met with a hail of downvotes.

It will be interesting when the next coach stumbles the first time-and he will, they all do. Which side will the former Miles Bashers line up on?

I can't remember being this positive heading into an LSU game.
I don't know how good we can be this year, but it's good to know the brakes are finally off the train.

Me too pal...I am very interested to see this team take a positive step forward. I don't have a clue what is in store, but for the first time in a long time, I am excited to find out.

If he wins out, we will be stuck with a substandard coach. You do realize what his record was at Ole Miss. How bad a job he did at Ole Miss, OLE frickING MISS! Bunch of dumbasses.

You think the majority are happy because O is the coach? They are happy because Miles and Cameron are gone and there is opportunity for change, which was never the case with Miles being here.

You can't overhaul an offense midseason, but you can improve on fundamentals, execution and effort. ALL of those were lacking under Miles. How does it make sense to wait to the end of the season? Having a dead men walking at the helm is no better then shaking things up early in the season. It actually helps with recruiting because now the recruits know they won't be playing for Miles vs firing someone two months before signing day.

I don't care if O loses all of our remaining games because change is coming no matter what. How hard is that to fricking understand.

It was more nega-Miles. I (former nega-Tiger) am relieved and elated that the poisoned pill, relative to football coaching performance, has been euthanized from the program. I support O, the next coach (whoever he may be if not still O), and whatever assistants may follow. The chaotic garbage Miles was putting on the field was a direct reflection of he and his coaching disabilities.

That will be interesting. But I believe no matter how the team finishes this season, everything will be laid at the feet of Miles.

If the team continues to lose, it will be because Miles has the team so fricked up they're beyond repair.

If they win more than they lose, we'll hear how easy it is to win at LSU and that shows how bad a coach he was.

But whoever is named the next head coach, when he falters a little bit, the lynch mob will be back in full force.

They are not "re-vamping" the offense, dumb arse. The Tigers will simply run plays that will require the defense to defend the entire field. Les Miles/Cam Cameron were restricting the capabilities of the offense for whatever reason. They were determined to run between the tackles no matter the defensive strategy. I am reading that this philosophy is gone. We shall see.

I could not disagree more. There are some knotheads in every fanbase, but those that hope for LSU losses to have some kind of nirvana scenario are completely unhinged and are not fans in the first place.

I'll take a substandard coach that can win 9 straight games with a 2-2 team. Especially if he can cook a gumbo, sha!

None of the true miles lovers will be pulling for BeBe to win out and show how bad a coach their hero was

I love Les Miles, Thought he was a good coach and a great guy. I hated how he got fired and would like to have had him s=finish out the season. And I'm pulling for BeBe to win out and get us another NC.

So clearly you're initial statement is just wrong. I love LSU, so I will always pull for the coach of LSU to win out.

so Choctaw, Beefense, Gray, and the rest of the idiots

I can't speak for those guys but I suspect they feel the same as I do. If they don't, they're not true LSU fans, IMO.

I personally don't give a shite about wins or losses anymore. It hurts to lose.. yeah.. but I'm just glad excitement and fun will be brought back. Les, our team, and fan base had all become apathetic.

There is no way a the Ole Miss retread coach is going to do anything special this weekend.
He doesn't have to against Missouri. Locke is dangerous, but I don't think their O-line can protect him well enough and their defense is shite.

I agree completely. But after being here on the rant for close to 3 years, I have come to realize that there is a ton of knotheads that claim to be LSU fans.

I disagree. I believe that if the team looks similar under O then miles will be vindicated to a degree and blame for poor play might be split between coaches and players. If the team looks great going forward, then blame would appear to lay squarely on Miles thus confirming speculation that he's been holding the team back for several years. Time will tell.

Post Tigers are now Nega Tigers and vice versa

Nope. Some of the Pro Miles and anti Miles people have swapped on BeBe.

Actual Posi Tigers (sunshine pumpers) usually try to find the positives in everything LSU (sometimes looking silly in the process).

But you can still see the same negas crapping on BeBe's chances and every coach mentioned not the one they want. Cant be happy with LSU other than the LSU exactly like they want.

At least that's this pumpers opinion. PUlling for BeBe to win out and for LSU to make the best possible hired, whether it's BeBe or not.
