Imagine if LSU used Fournette the way Stanford uses McCaffrey. They don't run a spread, but they are dynamic as a power run team.

They fully take advantage of the talent McCaffrey has. Fournette should have been used more in the passing game.

We have been passing to LF7 a lot more lately. 151 yards receiving in his last 3 games.

McCaffrey is good, but his APY numbers are inflated by his 922 kick return yards.

McCaffrey: 1640 rushing yards, 435 receiving, 10 total TDs.

LF: 1741 rushing yards, 209 receiving, 18 TDs

So McCaffrey has 125 more offensive yards than LF with 1 more game (these stats don't count tonight's game).

Their offense has lots of wrinkles. If we're going to run pro-style then this is a good look.

Fournette is literally twice the talent, this concept went right over your head. Congrats on being stupid.

What exactly is your definition of "a lot"? Because he's dropped like 3 on the season.

So LSU would have 2 losses instead of 3? Is that what y'all are getting at?

Imagine if he was getting the ball in receiving situations more early in the year though. Harris just realized that Fournette was a passing option the last 3 games.

Harris not being able to throw short is our problem. Fournette could have had 100+ receiving yards and 1-2 TDs vs Arkansas on open passes. Against Bama he could have been utilized in the passing game because we couldn't run.

If a much less talented kid like McCaffrey can put up 2070 yards rushing and receiving.and 10 TDs, while also 29+ per kick return and put up 12 total TDs, why have we made Fournette pretty much nothing but a battering ram until the last 3 games?

And another thing. His rushing TD stat is skewed.

He has 287 carries (before this game) for 1640 yards (5.71 ypc) and 6 TDs

A senior RB on the team has 69 carries (before the game) for 185 yards (2.88 ypc) and 13 TDs.

Do you get it?

The only reason he doesn't have more rush TDs, is because they use the senior on the goal line.

Here is an ESPN article about the senior RB
