If you read this board you would think LSU was one of the worst teams in college baseball. The truth is they aren't great but an above average team. Many people don't watch college baseball outside of LSU. If you did look around the country you would see that there are not that many great teams out there. Just a bunch of above average to good teams. Perspective is something that is lacked on this board sometimes. The SEC standings are proof of that. LSU hasn't played great baseball or even good baseball consistently and yet they are right in the middle of it because there is no great SEC team out there.

Also, this board has a massive case of Selective Memory Syndrome. According to this board LSU never lost a series or a game to an in-state school when Skip was the coach.
They forget we got swept by Houston in February in 2000.
And that great 1997 CWS championship team that was honored yesterday lost games to SLU, ULM and got swept by UNO.
