Maybe the "two-headed" monster up there in the booth will get it straight eventually, but we've lost some serious momentum on the defense this year. Maybe we should forbid the defense from watching the Saints on Sundays.

(I love 'em both...so no cracks! )

That quote got me thinking, with the two...I can see them arguing over which call to make and playing rock paper scissors for an answer on each call. With the two, how hard is it for them to settle on one call each play? If its anything like us fans trying to figure the defense out...good lawd!!

No. I don't miss having Arkansas 4th and 10 in overtime and only rushing 3 against Casey Dick. Pelini was a good guy, but I didn't think he was the answer either.

I really think the whole "2 coordinator" thing is a little over blown, I doubt they have problems getting the calls in. People wouldn't criticize them if it was working. More than anything, the scheme is the problem, not the "2 headed monster"

Yeah, I miss being able to completely shut down a Heisman-winning quarterback.

Hell yeah I miss him!...Got to find a TRUE defensive coordinator. No excuse for our defense to be this bad! We have the athletes on defense no doubt, maybe some of the best, but when they are not prepared right or dont know what the hell is going on than its on the coordinators

I NEVER THOUGHT THAT ANYTHING COULD HAVE MADE ME MISS SABAN AFTER HE WALKED OUT ON US, AND THE HATRED I FELT FOR HIM, UNTIL NOW.I THOUGHT BO PELINI HAD A LOT OF FAULTS BUT COMPARED TO WHAT WEVE HAD TO ENDURE THIS YEAR, MUSCHAMP AND SABAN SEEM LIKE VINCE LOMBORDI TO MY EARS

I guess everyone has forgot 4 and 10 against Arkansas.

What I miss are blitzes that one on the field or in the stands can see coming.

This year our blitz package should be named "Western Union" b/c they are so telegraphed.

I agree...
his defense was set up to be effective against the run mainly and it struggled against the spread and other solid passing offenses.

If you notice, our defense performance/stats started going down while Pellini was here.
I think he knew enough variations of it to keep it somewhat effective, whereas, the 2 DCs we have do not.

while the problem may be the scheme, the setup is a failure from the start....
TWO HEADS OF ANYTHING WILL NEVER WORK.
*rule of business.
that why you never see 2 HEADS OF THE SAME DEPARTMENT.

you can not hold anyone truly accountable, nor does one of them have complete authority.

If Bo was still here, our clueless ones would be comparing him to Tepper.

Even Miles is being compared to DiNardo this year--somethings never change.

We all know our baseball coach is in over his head!
