They haven't won 10 games in a season since Eli was there , I have an ole miss friend that is completely arrogant making claims ole miss is the best team in the country , hate to be a dick to the ole miss fans but I'm not impressed

They look really good right now

No reason to discredit an opponent this early in the season

Their fanbase though rivals A&M in terms of little bro insecurity and are totally insufferable

We'll see how loud they are once Florida knocks them off their pedestal in a couple of weeks.

I enjoy the hype.

Let it build.

We'll knock them on their arse again this year.

That's going to be a tough game. If Nkmdieche is able to rip though our line like he did against Bama, it will spell trouble for us- the way to stop Fournette is to hit him before he gets moving (like they did with Henry).

What makes me a bit more confident is Miles' stubbornness, actually. You could tell that Ole Miss was thin at depth, and beginning to wear down in the second half, but Bama was going all Kiffin at that point. If it's within 2 TDs, Miles will continue to feed Fournette, and we should assert ourselves by the fourth quarter.

Yep. Tit for tat. Can't blame them for being pumped. Commentator mentioned that LSU is the only other team to beat bama in bama consecutively. Don't know the validity of that but whatever.

Let's not kid ourselves: they're a very good team. It will be tough to go in there one-dimensional and beat them. We have to develop a good passing game by then.

Maybe they'll get a chance to hang another SEC West Co-Champs banner this year while not going to Atlanta.

I want the Ole Miss hype to continue then watch LF shatter their dreams and once again watch the best team Ole Miss ever had lose to LSU.

They got the luckiest play ever for a long TD, which should have been a turnover, and another break on the TD pass at the line with men down field. They easily could have lost that game last night. I think they're highly overrated.

Pretty much agree with you. They had 24 points on turn overs and fluke plays. I'm reserving judgment for now.

This is the kind of thing that makes people root against.

The thing that concerns me, though, is the fact that they have a bye the week before they play us, and it's game three in the Bama, Arkansas, Ole MIss, A&M end of season gauntlet. That is definitely something to be worried about.

Hopefully, Arkansas continues to get worse as the season progresses, but I don't think that's possible.

What always hurts them every year is the depth issue. Injuries always happen and guys get worn down. They may be undefeated when they get to us but they'll lose a few after that.
