Nobody goes. It's just filler. TV barely broadcast it. Might as well run this in the preseason and call this a scrimmage.

Everyone feels that way but if the rest of the conference is going to pad their schedule it doesn’t mKe sense for us not to

One benefit of the super conference era is we’ll only get 2 of these games a year instead of 3.

Yep. Better off just practicing. It’s one thing to play a lower tier team and completely another to play Grambling.

These games are meaningful when you're smart enough to use them as a tune up season opener.

Week 2? Not so much.

No. But they need to be game 1 or game 6 of the season.

Hopefully, the schools serious about football will break off into a top 40 or so, and play ONLY top 40 teams every game.

I don’t mind them really. I like them for a different way than I like the big games.

I like having a stress free Saturday for one but also I like knowing I’ll get to see some guys play that I wouldn’t otherwise.

Pac 12 type schedule should be required for all conferences.

It's so dumb to play Grambling and Georgia State. That late November SEC cupcake game annoys me more than anything else with scheduling.

Imagine how the player’s feel.

You think they want to be out there getting their arse chewed out against a varsity football team?

Yep, better off getting smashed by Florida State.

Only conference games are meaningful to an SEC team. You can lose every non conference game and go undefeated in conference play and get an auto bid to the championship playoff.

After last week no, it’s obvious we need practice and to try out some new plays such as being under center sometimes

Sorry but I gotta go ahead & say - NO!

If LSU goes 10-0 in the SEC & SECCG but loses to FSU, Grambling & Army they WILL NOT make the CFP.

Not sure about a waste of time but I always fear an injury or the sort. We could use a bit of live fire to work on deficiencies.

It’s a glorified practice. It’s good to get guys some reps…as long as nobody gets hurt.
