The front page "where to watch" link has only one listing for Birmingham, and that's for a place that appears to have closed 5 years ago.

I'm apartment hunting in BHM this weekend (moving there in 2 weeks), and would hate to miss it. For some reason I seem to have no problem finding places to watch Alabama / Arkansas...

Thanks in advance

I lived in Birmingham for five years. I don't know what bar was on that list but The Cajun Steamer is the place to watch LSU in Bham. Where are you looking for apartments? I lived at Wildwood Crossings which is pretty nice but that area has gone down hill.

Avoid the Tilted Kilt at all costs.

Maybe crazy Cajuns on 280. They are big LSU fans. I don't care for Cajun steamers food.

The paramount downtown is a pretty good place to catch a game.

Do not go to a Buffalo Wild Wings. Was there last weekend, couldn't think of anywhere else, so chose BWW as it was a mile from my hotel. They put it on one tv only after having to convince them and it was the smallest tv in the joint directly under my table. So I had to go to a chiropractor when I got back into town due to the strain on my neck from trying to see the game.

Get an apartment somewhere on the 280 corridor (traffic sucks but really convenient). Crazy Cajuns has great food but way too small for watching a game. Cajun Steamer in Hoover is much better for watching the game but the food isn't as good. There is a nice BWW off 280.

There is no official viewing party this weekend.

The LSU Birmingham Alumni are very active, and the last viewing party was at Todd English Pub in downtown Birmingham which was a great experience.

Events will probably be scheduled for Ole Miss and Bama games.

Check us out once you get settled in Bham. Fish Fry at oak mountain stake park is Oct 31 (bye week)

Theres a great little bar called "On Tap" on 280. Huge beer selection and good food. Full of locals so wont be a huge purple crowd. But nice place for food and beer on 280.
