Just got set up on the beach in Pensacola, looking for a cool bar or 2 to watch some games tomorrow. Any cool watering holes?? Already went to sidelines for lunch, it seemed okay, but maybe a little reserved.

Shooter's Sports Bar - Cardova Lanes on 9th Ave and Airport Blvd

LSU Alumnus and Fan Clubs meets here for the games, they play all the music as if at the games for everything, good crowd, mixed ages.

Door prizes, Cajun Food, Louisiana Folks

I wouldn't go to cordova lanes the alumni are a bunch of fricking snobs. I went there with my family a few times when we lived there and didn't click with that group.

They were okay when I used to go. But I would bolt out of there ASAP after the end of the game to keep from being on the same roads as those drunk sumbitches.

I lived in Pensacola for 6 years and had the same experience. Didn't click with them at all.

And it's not Alum vs Non-Alum. (I AM an LSU Alum)

It's home grown Pensacola redneck vs non-home grown Pen R's. If you're aren't part of that Pensacola "Good Ole Boy" network, forget about it.

Didn't see all ages there either. It's mostly boring arse old fart types that have some kind of arrogance that shouldn't be there at all.

Didn't feel comfortable or welcome at any of the events I went to. Tried a few times, but it was never enjoyable...........

I agree with the others, shooters is boring. Mostly 50 and older crowd and not much excitement. Plus it's in an old bowling alley bar. I think some tiger fans may still watch it a bamboo willies on the pensacola beach boardwalk. If anybody reads this let me know if there is an lsu presence on the beach.

He aforementioned alumni/fan club in Pensacola is legitimate. We'll be dropping by there for the 'Cuse game.

If you're going to drive 90 miles east, why not 140 miles West?

Great LSU/Saints bar/restaurant in Pensacola Beach. Can't remember name but it is in strip on left as you get on island - right up from Hemingways.

Possibly thinking about Shaggy's. That is not a bad place to watch a game. The manager is from Chalmette. Casino Beach & Bambo Willie's are good spots as well
