I know this is inviting trouble, but what can be build on from what we've seen so far with the Offense?

Ya know, there is no bigger Tiger fan than I, but our fan base is so delusional, it's pathetic. USCe is gong to murder us. Alabama? Ha!

Uncertain unless the playcalling changes. Obviously, better route running (which is taught and not as easy as most think).
Quicker passes, which ties into route running.

Positives? big and fast tailbacks that are powerful and can get you 3 yards and a cloud of dust, unless the defense knows thats the only thing you can do.

A GREAT DEFENSE that can hopefully keep the offense in good field position.

Actually, not many positives on offense.

Run Copeland 30 times and wear down the DL.

O-line can't, or won't, block. Receivers can't, or won't, catch. Fumbles.

Biggest here is receivers not catching. Why would defenses back off? Even if our receivers get open in man coverage, they don't catch the fricking ball, or the LTs blow a blocking assignment and ZM gets sacked/hurried. Injuries have turned a national title contender into a 2-4 loss POSSIBLE BCS bowl contender (heavy on the possible).

My concern is that we are no threat to successfully throw the ball, so chance to ever establish the run. Mettenberger is awful.

#1 Ball protection
#2 Receivers should practice catching with grease on their gloves.
We would have won handily at Florida if not for those two issues.

The first drive against Florida was positive, except once we got into redzone and settled for field goal by running that toss to Copeland! Unlike our WR, the tight ends have been catching the ball. Look at the first drive, then I do not know if they were targeted again?

No clue....

Like someone said earlier: "the players haven given up on the coaches" and vice versa.

I'm just going to throw this out there - The first drive for LSU was called correctly. Short passes so Z.M. didn't have to sit in the pocket for too long which allowed him to avoid the pass rush. It was effective.

The problem for LSU is that Florida's defense adjusted and took the short passes away. LSU then tried to go heavy on the run, which was not effective at any time during the game.

ALGator is exactly right. And the thing that is the most disappointing is that Florida made adjustments and we did not. That was the difference in the game.

Nic Jacobs
all of our RBs seem to be able to catch
our QB plays reasonably well (except for picking up blitzes from his left)

that's all I got. and #3 is negated by bad OL and wr play.

I wonder how the sunshine pumpers tried to spin this one. How many first downs we end up getting minus the one we got off the penalty? like two. we are complete joke on the offensive side of the ball.
