I haven’t gone all year because honestly I’m mad it left Dodies which was the perfect place for us to be....
Anyway I’m thinking about going to Dibs Saturday, who’s been?

If I’m with 5-8 people do I need to get there 2 hours early to get a seat? Is it family friendly at all or should I tell people to leave the kids at home?

Haven't been there because who wants to go downtown. For the Auburn game we went to II Brothers in Plano. That was pretty nice. Lots of tv's and the food was pretty good as well. There was a pretty good LSU turnout and there was a giveaway at halftime. Considering going there again this Saturday.

So I went to II Brothers once last year and really liked it, it's just a far drive for me...

I agree, Lower Greenville which is a great area and plenty of places to park close by

This new place is in the heart of downtown, gotta park in a garage to get to it, and it sounds like a basic sports bar... I dk wtf the alumni association was thinking

Dodie's still does the same thing every game. It's just not the official bar. We still go for saints games.

Wait do they have the projector screen up with the game on with volume still? Is it still full of LSU people?

They do for saints. I believe they do for LSU. They're just not the official spot anymore.

I know the guy that put that together. Allegedly the crowd is really good, I know a ton of non-LSU people show up, and they all have a blast. I am going to show up for the next few games after Bama, but I will not see the light of day until this game is over this Saturday

yeah it is a good 25 minute drive for me each way. That's why I don't go more often. I live in Rowlett.

Is this for Dibs? If so will you ask your friend why in the hell they would move the official watch party away from Dodies?

I went for Vandy. It was alright, I suppose. Kind of mellow, but that may have been b/c it was 11am and Vandy.

However, we are going this weekend with a group of 15. Hoping it's lively b/c I plan to get rowdy.

Where's everyone watching tomorrow?

I'm in Frisco area, but considering trying Dodies. Never been for a game.

My guess is because they live near Uptown. I'll ask him if I see him today.

Located here as well, but watching at my house. Tend to watch in the comfort of my own home, especially this game.

Yes.. the atmosphere is great and they do raffles for LSU stuff. Upstairs and downstairs with tvs everywhere so not a bad seat in the house.

It was an easy decision to move to Dibs. Dodies stance was we don’t need the Alumni support as we got those fans anyway. Dibs wanted lsu alumni business, Offered to donate financially to the alumni cause, provide advertisements and promotions, and provide specials for alumni at the watch parties. They stepped up their game and won the business while others refused.
