Any news about Rickey Jefferson and does he have a chance to contribute?

I have not heard much about him and was just wondering if any of you had heard anything. Is anyone hearing what position he will be looked at by the LSU coaching staff for the coming season?

I suppose no news is good news and I hope the unfortunate incident of a few months back is safely behind him & he will not suffer any after effects of being the brother of one of the most scrutinized LSU athletes in recent memory. Also, I hope he is evaluated on his own accomplishments as an LSU athlete.

Not sure what news you expect to hear during the summer. But I'm sure someone here will make up some stuff for you.

Could be an elite safety at LSU. Looks to be very committed to improving and winning a national championship.

i think rj ends up at safety. pretty sure he will get a look at cb and safety according to what he has said the coaches told him.

as far as the incident went, there is a whole lot of head shaking going on. i know some on here like to defend cops, but i know more cops that act like dicks and abuse their power than i do ones that dont. especially toward young people. and in nola no less.

To be fair and kind, he hasn't even had his first real practice with the team. We as fans are all in his corner. We all hope that he has a fabulous career and enjoys his time as a Tiger. He, like all the others will be given a fair opportunity to compete for a job.

I would think he'll be red shirting with the abundance of young db's ahead of him unless he completely blows it up during camp

Probably needs to gain weight for safety. Could be a ball hawk though. He's dangerous with the ball in his hands
